The Gothenburg office opened
In 1979, Elektroautomatik started its operations in Gothenburg with a labour force of five people. At the same time, the office became the company’s head office.
In 1992, the company started a new era with Åke’s son, Johan Sjöberg, at the helm. At this time, the condition for the contact activities on the electrical and control side were created. A collaboration with Swedish Match became a breakthrough on to the market.
The 2000s with many new offerings
During the 2000s, Elektroautomatik has expanded strongly with both new premises and an expanded portfolio. In 2013, the company expanded its vision department and in 2014, the new EA Service department was added. Both with successful results immediately. In 2016, Elektroautomatik further expanded its offering and launched the training unit, EA Academy. In the same year, it prepared for the future with new shareholders who bring the company a new breath of fresh air.
Technical innovation
Digitalisation became a fact and Elektroautomatik keeps abreast. In 2017, the first project with a collaborative robot was delivered and, in 2018, Elektroautomatik launched Virtual Commissioning. In connection with thus, the first virtual commissioning was done together with a customer.
The company has now grown into Sweden’s largest automation integrator with 115 employees.
